Sadie's £50k Fundraising Challenge!

Raise awareness, raise funds and

raise the expectations of young people!

Ten wild months...ten ridiculous challenges...one epic goal!

2027 marks ten years since I launched the Platform Project, a non-profit supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable young people across Swindon, Wiltshire and surrounding areas. Now, after ten years, I've made the decision to move on and hand over the reins, but before I go, I wanted to do one last big thing... something big and bold enough to do justice for everything this incredible organisation has done for young people since its inception 10 years ago.

My very first grant when I launched the Platform Project was £5,000, so this year, ten years on, I'm aiming to fundraise ten times that amount...

£50,000!

£5,000 for every year we have strived to make a difference. But I could never have built this organisation alone, and growing it over the past decade has taken a small army of people believing in it alongside me...and just like I couldn't do it alone back then, I can't do this alone now either, which is where you come in!

I'm setting myself ten ridiculous challenges over ten wild months to achieve one epic goal....Will you help me and #JoinTeamSadie ?!?

What's happening & how you can get involved

Every month between September 2026 and June 2027 brings a brand new challenge, and you get to help decide what happens. Most months, I'll put two ridiculous options to a public vote (think snake versus tarantula, or Santa versus Elf!), and whichever gets the most support is the one I actually have to do. Follow on our social media for updates and engagement links...

You can get involved by voting and donating to back your choice, by actually joining me in some of the challenges (yes...you too can have the exhilirating experience of crippling embarassment and social shaming!!!), or you can do your own thing and organise an independant fundrasising event to contribute towards my massive target. If you're a brilliant baker, could you host a cake sale? If you're running a marathon, could you nominate the Platform Project as your fundraising partner? Or if you love a great party could you organise an event to help raise funds (and invite The Platform Project team of course!!!).

But if all else fails you can always donate by buying our #JoinTeamSadie t-shirts, where 100% of the profits go towards the fundraising target. (PLEASE NOTE: This t-shirt has been designed for those who have no sense of style, are social outcasts, or suffer from a fairly significant visual impairment. Please wear with pride / caution!)

And we're also looking for amazing (and generous!) companies who might like to sponsor each of our ridiculous challenge events or donate an item for our auction and participation prizes, so if you would like to get involved and support us please just email with through the below button.

However you choose to get involved, every penny raised counts towards that £50,000 goal, and on Saturday 26th June 2027, it all builds to a ten year anniversary gala dinner, where we'll reveal the final total together.
