Young people will work towards creating their own mini enterprise project following a carousel of activities selected from: 

• printed goods
• creative crafts
• digital projects
• 3D printing
• cooking

They will look at marketing, branding, sales and finance.  The 7 week programme will end with a mini market where they can showcase and sell their products or services.  

We will work with them to turn a passion or hobby into a potential business!

Wednesdays 10am-12pm | Ages 7-11 (Key Stage 2)

Thursdays 10am-12pm | Ages 11-16 (Key Stages 3&4)

The programme runs for 7 weeks in November and December. 

£20 per 2-hour session (Termly booking is required)

Who delivers the sessions?

Sessions are delivered by experienced youth practitioners in a supportive and inclusive environment. 

What is the maximum group size?

There will be up to 10 children/young people in each session. 

Is SEND support available? 

Our youth practitioners are experienced in adapting activities for a wide range of learners.  Our SEND Specialist programme lead is also a qualified Thrive practitioner. 

What should young people bring?

All resources are provided.  Young people are welcome to bring drinks and snacks.

Project Engage is for targeted groups of young people from the same school/provider and is specifically designed for those students that are at risk of becoming NEET as part of a graduated intervention plan. 

It would also work well for students who would benefit from offsite enrichment to boost confidence and skills.

Enterprising Education – Students will work towards creating their own mini enterprise project following a carousel of activities selected from printed goods, creative crafts, digital projects, 3D printing or cooking. They will look at marketing, branding, sales and finance.

Digital Media – Students will work on blogs, vlogs, podcasts and social media, learning about the different types of media and how they can be used as a hobby, in the world of work or to enhance a business.

Employability and Personal Development – Students will take part in career coaching, develop confidence and communication skills, be given a real-world brief to work from, as well as developing their CV and transferable skills.

Projects run for a term (6-7 weeks) and all students will end the project with an AQA Unit Award specific to the project.

Discover Group sessions are aimed at Home Educated and re-sit students, as well as those who would prefer to work alongside peers in an alternative setting. Focus will be subject specific and centred around exam skills.

We offer Maths and English tutoring for GCSE and all Functional Skills levels.
